The best part of this blogging mystique is the flow of conversation and thoughts among readers on the blog. The pleasure you afford the writer by sharing your thoughts or spreading the word on a good article is immense. It matters very little if there is complete agreement or a bit of challenge or a few questions in these responses. To me, it matters only that I can make my own website and be able to share something worthwhile and someone has found value in it. Content is king (or queen if you will permit me the variation), no questions asked. The personal (in your eyes) and perceived (in the eyes of others) success in the blogging world belongs with those who can clearly articulate their thoughts, connect with the heart and mind of their readers and consistently write authentic content even on non-original commonplace topics. It is your writing voice that carries you through and through!

With that slap of truth out of the way, I admit I have been itching to write about blogging beyond the writing. Have you moved to the world of electronic books yet?

I had been trying in vain. I even bought a Kindle; I have yet to really use it. The thing is, traditional books are a pain to give up. I am addicted to turning the pages, feeling the text, holding the book, marking my place, writing in the margin, and seeing a visual progress from start to finish. As if that is not enough for a permanently happy relationship, I like the absence of technology in a book. These sweet elements add pleasure to my reading experience. A shift into the electronic world, even for an avid consumer of technology such as myself, almost feels like a betrayal to the true essence of books.

Wait two seconds please before you dismiss this as yet another iPhone gizmo promo write-up; it is not. My husband warned me to write for all my readers when I told him about this post and I responded “always“. This is no different; it is for all of you, iPhone owners or not. Once in a while, you come across a product that redefines your lifestyle, refines the rough edges, does away with the redundancies, clears up the small frustrations, creates room for growth and makes things so ridiculously simple and ingenious that you stand there with your jaw wide-open and wonder why for the life of you, you did not take the leap sooner.
